MmMMMMM.....that would be....gold coast stew. My stepfather used to make us eat it every thursday evening. Essentially its peanut butter soup. Yuck. I would have to sit there until i ate it all. The only thing worse than gold coast stew is COLD gold coast stew. I barfed all over the table, and never had to eat it again. They shoulda listened to me when I told them I was getting sick.....
My father had the same rule...you stay until everything on your plate is gone. One time, I salted my fruit cocktail by mistake and he made me sit there until midnight, until I ate it.
My most disgusting thing would probably be the upper GI cocktail I had to drink in the ER, but that's not really eating.
Um, let's see....when I was first cooking, I didn't realize you had to drain the pasta before adding the sauce and I made a watery spaghetti soup...that was pretty gross.
The most disgusting thing as in it would disgust others but tasted ok or that we thought was disgusting too?
I can give examples of both...most disgusting but that I really enjoyed (and am ashamed to admit I enjoyed it) was horse in a restaurant in Japan...had it both raw (shashimi) and cooked, was better than any steak I have ever tasted in my life!
That was disgusting and I thought it tasted disgusting too...again in Japan...staying in a buddist temple with the monks, they are vegan. Most meals were great and each day was different, the worst was this breakfast which was in a bowl, and was green and looked like sludge...it was a type of algea mixed with lichen and moss, that when cooked goes quite slimey, sticky and gooey. It was foul, reminded me of the algea you get in stagnent ponds!!
But in australia, I also ate the whitchity grub, and a few other weird things but can't remember what they were.
