They really make hedgehogs into pets?

They do here in the midwest. Do they anywhere else?

    What are the hedgehogs like over there Mindi? We have small hedgehogs over here that are adorable, and they snuffle around the garden eating slugs, worms, etc. They are quite friendly and will happily eat dog food, cat food, etc and if you are genle you can pick them up. I'll see if I can get a pic of ours. I wouldn't call him a pet although like the birds, we do feed and look after him the best we can.

    In Britain I think they're big. I've never heard of anyone having them here.

    Ya know, I've lived in the mid-west my whole life and never heard of anyone keeping a hedgehog as a pet! Strange! ~Beckie Grems
